My Approach and Who I Am

Together we work to understand how unprocessed emotions and past experiences get in the way of wellbeing in the form of anxiety, stuckness, unhelpful relational patterns and negative self talk. I guide and support my clients to connect with their inner world and to move towards more fulfilling connections with others. My clients learn to strengthen what is working well for them, adapt what is not and to have a more satisfying, nourishing existence.

At my roots, I am a trauma therapist offering unconditional kindness and deep care. I tend to work from a variety of perspectives based in attachment theory, Polyvagal Theory, the Structural Dissociation model, parts work/IFS, somatic modalities, mindfulness and self compassion.

I’m an optimist, lifelong learner and big reader. I am an extrovert and feel energized by my clients and the work we do. My kitchen and garden are spaces where I can be inventive. I am the owner of a Little Free Library. Most proudly, I’m a Mama to one funny and snuggly little boy.

Are we a good fit?

Clients often use our initial consultations to see how we “vibe”. I welcome this!

I also greatly encourage questions. Below are some that I think may be most useful to consider (and ask) as we start work together.

What does a typical session look like?

Whats your therapeutic style?

What are outcomes I could expect from this method/ modality?

Is there a timeline for our work together?

How will I know I’m making progress?

What do success stories with people in similar situations look like?

How did you become a specialist in trauma and perinatal health?

Why is this work important to you?
