You’ve tried talk therapy. You’ve read the books, practiced the coping skills, and done your best to “think your way” out of the pain. And yet—what you’re struggling with still lingers, unresolved.
You begin to judge yourself for still feeling this way. Maybe you minimize what you’re experiencing or assume there must be something wrong with you for not having “gotten over it” by now.
But here’s what’s often missing from that story: When you’re in emotional or physical pain, there’s often a disconnect between what you feel and how you think about it.
This gap makes it difficult to reason your way through distress—no matter how hard you try. Without addressing the root of your struggle, coping skills and cognitive strategies may only serve as a temporary mask rather than creating meaningful, lasting change.
To continue the healing process, it’s essential to engage more than just language and executive thinking. We need to work with the deeper parts of the brain—the areas that store trauma, emotion, and stress responses. This is where Brainspotting comes in.
Brainspotting is a transformative therapeutic technique designed to access the deeper layers of your emotional and somatic experience—the ones that talking alone can’t always reach.
It helps connect with the limbic system and the body’s innate healing wisdom, allowing stuck trauma to surface and be processed within your capacity.
By using specific eye positions, Brainspotting identifies “brain spots” that correlate with the emotional or physical distress you’re carrying. These spots give us direct access to the places where your body is holding unprocessed pain—whether or not you’re consciously aware of it.
The beauty of this work is in its gentleness. You don’t have to force anything.
You don’t need to rehash old stories in detail. Simply by being present with your sensations and emotions—even if they’re faint or hard to name—your nervous system can begin to unwind what’s been stuck.
Brainspotting works with your body’s natural healing intelligence. At your own pace, you’ll process and release stored trauma, moving toward more clarity, calm, and resilience. You’ll feel more grounded in who you are, more able to respond to life rather than react.
Brainspotting is empowering because it encourages you to become your own source for healing.
It’s not about “fixing” you—it’s about coming home to yourself.
Over time, many clients describe feeling lighter, clearer, and more at peace. They rediscover their capacity for joy, balance, and a deeper sense of self. It’s an opportunity to not just heal but to reclaim your life.

If you’re struggling, feel alone and find that the ways you’ve been trying to solve problems aren’t working. Most often, I hear from people after something really gets their attention and they think “I can’t keep doing this”. Something is new or gotten worst and they reach out.

We start with an intake to get clear understanding of who you are, where you’ve been and what you are seeking to get out of our work together.
I recommend starting with weekly sessions to get progress moving. Within the 2nd or 3rd session I provide education and support you in getting ready to start Brainspotting. This is a primary way I practice, its gentle, client paced and allows us to get where you need to go more quickly. Because we’re working with subcortical brain and you can anticipate more “bang for your buck” than talk therapy alone. That might mean faster healing or understanding more about whats getting in the way of progress and living better right now.
